Good neighbours during festival season
A concert series in a park is felt in the streets around it too: closed roads, crowds and noise. FKP Scorpio wants to give the neighbours something in return, such as up to 40% off tickets, access permits for people living in a closed street and clear information in advance.
Mijn Middenvijver brings that together in one account. You register as a resident or as a local business and pick your street from a list that comes straight from the street register of the City of Antwerp. Only addresses with postcode 2050 qualify, and an administrator approves every account. Once a year you confirm your details again, so the list stays up to date.
- Separate registration for residents and local businesses, with VAT number
- Streets taken from the official street register of the City of Antwerp
- Personal links to discounted tickets, two per concert
- Access permit requests, with deadlines and a maximum per business
- Registrations for neighbourhood events, exportable by the organiser
- Fully bilingual, with emails in the language of each recipient
Admin without spreadsheets
The FKP Scorpio team manages everything from an admin area built on Filament. The dashboard shows who is waiting for approval, which permit requests are still open and who needs to reconfirm their details. The team edits news, events and translations themselves, and publications can be scheduled in advance.
Mailings go to everyone, to residents only, to businesses only or to the participants of a single event. Every mail goes out in the language of the recipient, with its own unsubscribe link, and the team can preview it in the browser first. Under the hood it is a Laravel application with Blade and a custom SCSS theme, tested with Pest.
