Password management with Proton Pass

One secure place for all your team's passwords.
Manage it yourself or with guidance from GeNx.

Why a password manager for your business?

In most businesses, passwords are scattered across browsers, spreadsheets, sticky notes and old emails. Everyone has their own system and nobody has an overview. A password manager fixes that: every account gets a strong, unique password, your team shares access without emailing anything, and when someone leaves you know exactly which access to revoke.

Reused passwords

One leaked password quickly becomes the key to ten other accounts. With a password manager, every account has its own strong password that nobody needs to remember.

Sharing by email or chat

Passwords sent by email or in Teams stay there for years. Shared vaults give the right people access, without copies sitting in mailboxes.

People joining and leaving

A new colleague gets access to the right vaults straight away. When someone leaves, you revoke that access centrally and see which passwords you should change.

What Proton Pass does for your team

Proton Pass is the password manager from Proton, the Swiss company behind Proton Mail. The business version adds central management to everything you expect from a good password manager.

End-to-end encrypted

Everything is encrypted on your own device before it reaches the servers. Proton cannot read your passwords, notes or other data.

Shared vaults and secure links

Organise passwords in vaults per team, client or project and decide who sees what. Need to share something with someone outside your company? Use a secure link with an expiry date.

Passkeys

Proton Pass stores passkeys, the successor to the classic password, and uses them on all your devices.

Built-in 2FA codes

The one-time codes for two-factor authentication (TOTP) live in Proton Pass right next to the login. No separate authenticator app needed.

Hide-my-email aliases

Create a unique email alias for every service. Your real address stays out of data breaches and spam lists.

Admin console and policies

Admins add users and manage vaults. With Pass Professional you can also enforce rules, such as mandatory two-factor authentication or what may be shared outside the organisation, and you get SSO, SCIM and activity logs.

Breach monitoring

Pass Monitor flags weak and reused passwords and warns you when an email address shows up in a known data breach on the dark web.

On every device

Apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, plus extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Brave. With unlimited logins and notes.

Why Proton?

A password manager holds the keys to your entire business. So you want to know who is behind it, where your data lives and whether the security has been tested independently.

European privacy

Proton is headquartered in Geneva and falls under Swiss privacy law and the GDPR. Your data is stored on servers in Switzerland, Germany and Norway.

Open source

The Proton Pass apps are open source. Anyone can review the code, which says more than a promise on a website.

Independently audited

Proton Pass has been audited by independent security firms, such as Cure53 in 2023 and Recurity Labs in 2026. Proton is also ISO 27001 certified and holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation.

Proton Pass

GeNx is an official Proton partner and reseller. You buy Proton Pass through us and decide how much guidance you want with it.

Managed does not mean GeNx can see your passwords

Even with Proton Pass Managed, GeNx has no access to your passwords. Proton Pass encrypts everything end to end on your own device. We help you with installation, settings and questions, but the contents of your vaults stay with you and your team.
