Technical textiles, clearly explained
Manifattura Fontana produces needle punched nonwoven geotextiles for roads, railways, tunnels, water basins and landfills. The company was founded in 1932 in the Valbrenta region in Italy and has been part of Sioen Industries since 2016.
The people choosing these materials are usually engineers or contractors, and they want specifications and proof. The website is built around that: the five functions of geotextiles (separation, filtration, protection, drainage and reinforcement), the Drefon and Edilfon product ranges, production capacity and certifications, and a database of reference projects.
The site is available in English and Italian and runs on Kirby CMS, so the team manages pages, projects and translations themselves.
- Bilingual site in English and Italian
- Reference projects filterable by function and application
- Dedicated pages for product ranges, production capacity and certifications
- Contact form with reCAPTCHA and clear calls to reach sales or request technical data sheets
- Cookie banner with consent per category
- Kirby CMS with a flexible block builder for content
References you can filter
From the Autostrada A4 between Milan and Venice to a hydroelectric tunnel at Niagara Falls: the references page shows where the geotextiles are actually used. Every project has a location, a short description and tags for function and application.
Those tags come from a central list in the CMS, which keeps the filters consistent as new projects are added.
