Virtual cycling, real motivation

Sporta VZW was looking for a way to get people exercising at events and inspire them to get out and ride for real. We built a VR setup where visitors could cycle virtually through any environment on Google Maps using exercise bikes.

The combination of physical effort with a virtual experience created an accessible introduction to sports.

  • VR experience linked to real exercise bikes
  • Google Maps integration for virtual routes
  • Event-ready hardware setup
  • Real-time tracking of cycling performance
