Aptly

Aptly is a HYPERCHICKEN product of our own: online appointment scheduling for independent professionals such as therapists, coaches and doctors. Clients book a slot themselves on a dedicated booking page, while you manage availability and appointments in one place.

Appointments without the email back and forth

When you work on your own, finding a time that suits everyone quickly eats into your day. Aptly gives every practice its own booking page in its own brand colours. A client picks the type of appointment, fills in their details and then chooses a date and an open time slot.

Aptly only offers slots that are actually free: your weekly availability, minus appointments already booked, your absences and Belgian public holidays. After booking, the client receives a confirmation and an email reminder ahead of the appointment. Cancelling works through a secure link in that email, so it takes no effort on your side.

  • Appointment types with their own duration and price
  • Weekly availability, extra openings and absences
  • Belgian public holidays blocked automatically
  • Email confirmation and reminder, cancellation through a link
  • Planning overview to book appointments yourself or block time slots
  • Booking page and emails in Dutch, French and English

Kept deliberately simple

Aptly is built for independents and leaves out what they do not need. There is one plan with unlimited appointments and appointment types, and Peppol e-invoicing is supported. New customers get personal help with onboarding and setting up their workspace.

Behind the scenes Aptly is a Laravel application with Inertia and React in TypeScript. Every workspace has its own address, its own copy per language and its own branding. A scheduled task sends the reminders, and public holidays come from spatie/holidays, so they stay correct year after year.
